It’s time to get thinking about your garden and what better way to do that then to order a free Gardens Alive catalog. The catalog also comes with a $25 coupon to use with your first purchase.

I belong to two very important websites, the first is Family Watchdog; They send you alerts when an offender has moved into your neighborhood complete with description of offense and address. I find this site extremely important since my kids are getting older and therefore have more freedom (even though I would prefer to keep them locked in my yard ;)

The other is called Crime Reports: This site will alert you to various crimes that have taken place in your area so you can be aware of car burglaries, break-in’s etc. and take the right precautions.
Both sites are free to join and will email you when new alerts pop up.

My blog post about gardening had me looking for free garden supplies and I ran across the following sites:
TonsOfDirt will allow you to enter in your zip code to see if there are people offering not only free dirt, but ricks, mulch and more.
FreeDirt also works the same way. Just enter in your code to see what is available.
Don’t forget to check your local Craigslist in the “free” section for all kinds of free items, including dirt.
Also, check out your local dump, our offers free mulch!
