Here’s the deal, I have been taking surveys online for over 5 years. I have joined them all and know which ones actually pay out. I am not one of those women who tries to tell you that you can make tons of money filling out surveys. In reality, you can’t sustain your lifestyle by just “filling out surveys”. BUT you can make some extra cash and who doesn’t need some these days
Here is a list of survey sites that have been proven to pay out!
My Survey – Point based, once you reach 1,000 points you can redeem for cash ($10). Paid several times.
Survey Spot - I have gotten paid several times, plenty of surveys and fun games for prizes.
Toluna.com – Used to be Your2cents. Points based – 30,000 points equal $10. Been paid several times.
Opinion Outpost - Points based. Minimum is 50 Opinion Points or $5. Paid several times. MY FAVORITE!
Global Test Market - Point based, 5 cents per market point. Paid several times.
Survey Savvy - Paid out but not often.
Ipsos i-say – Points take awhile, but they offer a lot of surveys.
Lightspeed Consumer Panel - I think this is the first site I ever joined. Offers point based surveys, sweepstakes and cash through paypal.
Nielsen Consumer Panel – I have been a member for about 3 years now. I also posted about it on the site. They give you a little handheld scanner and you receive points redeemable for prizes for all of the purchases you scan and transmit. I received a coffee maker, baby items and toys. You will also be asked to take surveys for points as well.
The following are sites that take forever, but I am still plugging along to see where it takes me
Inbox Dollars - Read email and click to pay site. Paid once – not bad for just clicking.
Send Earnings - Click to pay. Same as above.
Here are photo’s of a few checks I received so you know they actually do pay out.

Thanks! I joined Opinion outpost, surveyspot and mypoints. Of those only opinion outpost is sending me worthwhile surveys, I haven’t received anything from my points in the month and a half I’ve been signed up and I don’t seem to qualify for most of the surveys worht $ on survey spot. 1 is better than none, thanks a ton.
Brooke.
p.s. love the site, thank you.
Hi Brooke,
I think Opinion Outpost has got to be the best out of all of them for me anyway. They send so many surveys and I almost always qualify for them. Loving it!
hi thanks for posting all those sites. i am registered to all those sites and never qualify and have been trying for like 3 years on and off. i get so frustrated and stop for a while. sometimes i get like a few points but never qualify for cash ones. i take surveys on dollarsurveys.net they pay out 1 dollar for every survey that you qualify for, so far i’ve made 2 dollars lol. they take a while before they credit the money to your paypal account.
I do dollarsurveys too, haven’t made but $2 so I stopped, never seem to qualify for them
I like checking out everyone’s opinion as to what is the best for surveys because they vary so greatly. It is all down to demograhics I guess.
My faves are (more or less in order as much as I can figure, with no referral bucks):
Pinecone Research (not as many surveys but the best!)
SurveyHead (I have prob made the most so far from them)
Ipsos iSay
Valued Opinions
Lightspeed
Opinion Outpost
My View
Mindfield
Have not had much luck at all from:
Survey Spot
ePoll
Global Test Market
My Survey
ACOP
Survey Savvy
Inspired Opinions
HDC surveys
I never get surveys from Toluna but do the very short sponsored polls on the site daily so it ends up being more like a paid to click site for me almost.
I recommend Swagbucks.
I also do MyPoints, SendEarnings, Inbox Dollars and Reward Port all for reading email although they have other options.
I just started with iRazoo and ZoomBucks which are more like swagbucks.
I check out SurveyPolice first before signing up with new places and also watch out for sites that are just survey panels that host a bunch of different ones from different places. They take their middleman’s cut so you only get half as much as what you would have rec’d if you did the survey direct.
I have to say that Pinecone and Opinion Outpost have become my top two – I like that Pinecone pays a flat fee per survey and I get 1 or 3 a week. Opinion has slowed down but then again I have found myself forgetting to fill out the survey’s with being too busy. Thanks for your input, that is some list!
I am in the age bracket that is the kiss of death for companies wanting my opinion. LOL. And a lot of what I get offered surveys for is the senior stuff like Hoveround and dentures…not quite there yet… and various illness I don’t have yet, etc…so I have had to branch out to many survey companies to increase my odds a bit.
In a couple years I will be bumped to the next age bracket and then I’m afraid the surveys opportunities will really slow down.
The hard part is doing the research on the survey places first before signing up. So many weasels out there. So many blogs recommending survey sites just for the referral bucks. (Not you) There are a few bad surveys sites that if I see them recommend then I know they are full of it.
