2009 was not such a good year. I was laid off and times were hard. But on a brighter note, it helped me to learn to downsize and budget everything. This has been good for my family. We did not realize how much we wasted or spent. Come on 2010…we are armed and ready for ya!!!

2009 has been hard financially and I’m sure it’ll take a few years to recoup, but our family is all healthy, happy and together ~ Nothing could be better!

I’m so glad I kept a journal of what adventures I had this year…I had a good year and even though it ended with major family stress, it ends on a positive note and I hope to continue a positive outlook for 2010!

2009 will be a very memorable year for me, I quit smoking in January! It has been a year, now I just need to loose all the weight I gained this year! I am happy, healthy and looking forward to even more blessings to come in 2010!

This year was tough with a 40% cut in household income, but we managed. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. 2010 should be even better with baby #3 on the way!

2009 has been coming to a rough end, my husband lost his job just before Thanksgiving. Money was pretty tight for the holidays as a result, but we are hoping and praying for a better health, happiness & finances in 2010. God bless you for doing what you do to help our few dollars streach a bit further.

2009 was one year that showed me how to be very frugal with no income coming in on my part it was very hard living on my husband one salary with 2 kids. On the other hand I was introduced to couponing thru your website and now if I see a coupon on the floor outside on the street I pick it up, its like money to me.

Thank you for your website

2009 was great for me because i discovered coupons!! where i live there is no cvs, or wags, and stores dont double coupons, and to get to target is almost 2 hours away so i miss all the great deals i read about on here, but what i have saved just in straight cents off coupons has been amazing still, and i wonder why it took me this long to get into it!!! thank you

2009 had its ups and downs for me. I think that one of the best things was moving in with my boyfriend. It’s been great for us, and the frugal side of me loves splitting expenses too ;)

2009 was a strange year. I hopped freight trains and travelled the country, got engaged, then came home to Ohio to visit my father and ended up staying while my fiancee and I took a break and he set off for Jersey. Despite the loneliness , it has been nice to see family members that I have never met or haven’t seen for many years, and gotten a chance to rest my weary feet! :)

2009 was mostly terrible for us. We lost almost all of our income, our car got repo’d, we almost lost are house, and are still majorly having financial hardship.
On a good note we are all healthy and remaining optimistic. And I am still couponing like
crazy!!

2009 wasn’t a good year for my family. My husband has been laid off since March and trying to adjust to my income and unemployment wasn’t very easy. I have had to learn how to use coupons (still learning!) and your site has helped out tremendously.

Happy 2010! For me 2009 had its moments of frustration but ultimately I feel those are the things that will make me vs. break me…I’m just glad to have the ability to see 2010!

I had an interesting year for 2009. My husband and I had recently moved for his job when he was laid off in March after only 5 months of work. I had only been working for a month when we moved again to start a new life with a new job for him. The pay he has been receiving is less than half of what he thought he would be making. I had a seasonal position, but recently was cut from it. We have more bills than we know what to do with, but have discovered the importance of ‘cutting the fat’ from things we don’t need, using coupons or buying store brands when available, making our own fun at home, and just enjoying what we can.
I look forward to the fresh start of 2010 and making it a better year, even if our financial situation improves using the techniques I have learned so that we can save money to be better prepared for our future, and maybe take a honeymoon (finally) after 3 years of marriage.

My kids may finally get it…..we went to the grocery store and I saved 12 dollars using my coupons, they thought that was too cool!!! They have helped me clip coupons from the newspaper, I did have to remind them we can’t buy anything we want just because it has a coupon haha!! It is a start!!
